For the love of shoes...

'A good woman with good shoes is never ugly'
Coco Chanel

I love shoes. Honestly, who doesn't? Especially if it's a pair by Christian Louboutin. Here's an interesting story of the legend behind the rouge...

The legend of the red sole
Christian has unveiled his first beauty collection, by way of the signature Rouge Louboutin Nail Colour.
Any Louboutin lover knows that shade - you know, the one that goes with everything, vibrant on any skin tone - the essence of the classic Louboutin high heel. But do you know how the iconic Red Sole came to be?
The story of Rouge goes all the way back to 1993, to a studio in Paris, as Christian worked on the Pensée, a shoe inspired by Andy Warhol's "Flowers." Something, he felt, was missing. As fate would have it, his assistant Sarah sat nearby, painting her nails. Christian snatched the bottle, despite Sarah's protests, and coated the sole in a striking shade of red.
The rest, as they say, was history.
With Rouge Louboutin, the legend of the Red Sole has come full-circle: "I am giving back to nails what the shoe took from the nails many years ago."
There's never been a better time to get caught red-handed.
